How do I book an appointment? +
You can book online anytime through our MassageBook page — just click the "Book Now" button at the top of any page. You can also text or call us at
(630) 481-7717 during business hours to schedule.
How far in advance should I book? +
We recommend booking at least a few days ahead, especially for weekend appointments which fill quickly. Same-day appointments are occasionally available — text us to check. Regular clients often book their next session before leaving.
What is your cancellation policy? +
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a partial session fee. We understand life happens — just let us know as soon as you can and we'll do our best to work with you.
Do you offer same-day appointments? +
Occasionally, yes. The best way to check same-day availability is to text or call us at
(630) 481-7717. Online booking may not always reflect last-minute openings.
What's the difference between deep tissue and Swedish massage? +
Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes with light to moderate pressure — it's primarily for relaxation, stress relief, and general tension. Deep tissue uses slower, more targeted strokes with firm pressure to reach deeper muscle layers and address chronic pain, knots, and adhesions. Deep tissue is more therapeutic; Swedish is more restorative. Many clients benefit from elements of both.
Which service should I choose if I'm not sure? +
If you're not sure, just text or book online and describe what you're dealing with — BB will recommend the right approach. For pain relief and chronic tension, Deep Tissue is most common. For relaxation, Swedish. For active recovery, Sports Massage. For CBD-enhanced relief or clinical treatment, CBD or Medical Massage. See the
full services page for details on each.
How long should my session be? +
Sessions are available in 30, 75, 90, and 120 minutes. A 30-minute session is ideal for targeted work on one specific area (e.g. neck and shoulders only). 75 or 90 minutes allows a thorough full-body approach or detailed work on multiple problem areas. 120 minutes is best for deep, unhurried work across the whole body. If you have widespread tension or chronic pain in several areas, 90 minutes or more is usually most effective.
Do you offer couples massage? +
We don't currently offer simultaneous couples massage in the studio, but we can schedule back-to-back appointments for two people on the same day. Contact us to arrange this.
Do I need to undress completely? +
No — you undress to your own level of comfort. You'll be covered with a sheet at all times throughout the session. Only the specific area being worked on is ever uncovered. Your privacy and comfort are always the priority.
Will the massage hurt? +
Deep tissue and sports massage can involve some therapeutic discomfort — a "good hurt" that feels productive. It should never be acutely painful. Always communicate with BB during your session if the pressure is too intense. She'll adjust immediately and without judgment. Open communication makes every session better.
What should I do before my appointment? +
Drink water, avoid a heavy meal in the hour beforehand, and arrive a few minutes early — especially for your first visit. Fill out the intake form if you received one by email. Wear or bring comfortable clothing to change into after your session.
What should I do after my massage? +
Drink plenty of water — this helps your body flush out metabolic waste released during the massage. Avoid strenuous exercise for the rest of the day. Some mild soreness is normal after deep tissue work and typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Heat (a warm bath or heating pad) can help.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do you accept health insurance? +
We do not bill insurance directly. However, we accept HSA and FSA cards, and can provide a receipt that you may be able to submit to your insurance provider depending on your plan. Check with your insurance company about massage therapy coverage.
Do you offer gift cards? +
Yes! Gift cards are available in any amount and can be delivered digitally by email or printed for in-person gifting. They never expire and can be used for any service.
